Dynasol has the following unique advantages which contribute to the quality and economy of internal sizing of paper.

• It is a ready to use liquid which avoids cooking and other related processing at the mill. Hence it is easier in handling and dosing.
• It produces a size precipitate that has a potentially low surface energy and thus high water repellency(very important for an efficient sizing) even at elevated pH upto 6.5 with or without Calcium Carbonate, a filler normally used in this range of pH.
• Dynasol grades are tailor - made to suit the demands of various paper making conditions such as Raw Material composition, Dewatering and Drying methods.
• Dynasol facilitates the usage of wide range of fillers with an emphasis on Calcium Carbonate which has to be Sized only at neutral or pseudo - alkaline conditions.
• Dynasol ensures control in loss of brightness during paper consolidation due to the high pH environment of the wet end.
• As Dynasol can accommodate higher alkalinity during normal filler application the higher amount of the same can be used without losing the dynamic strength properties.
• Because of the low free energy film it produces with alum the film stays fixed on the fibre even though fluids are brought into contact with it.

• It does not undergo premature agglomeration by polyvalent ions.
• Microbiological growth in the stock system is not promoted by Dynasol.
• It fixes on the cellulosic fibres in a well oriented manner during the web drying resulting in more uniformity in sizing.
• Imparts shade and brightness stability which is very important for fine papers.
• Tailor - made Dynasol grades are resistant to high initial dryer temperature which is detrimental for other forms of sizing chemicals (in case of machines with limited drying capacity). However selection of the grade is highly dependent on the paper making conditions.
• It is compatible with all type of pulps, fillers, paper making systems and retention aids.
• Though it can be used in batch operations, the optimum efficiency shall be achieved in continuous dosing system.
